Marketing for Wellness sought to design creative packaging for Vita Foods’ Smoked Nova Salmon that appeals to a younger, on-the-go audience.We studied diligently to find the best blend that would stand out from competitors, entice a younger audience, and represent the Vita Foods brand.

We studied diligently to find the best blend that would stand out from competitors, entice a younger audience, and represent the Vita Foods brand.For every concept, we highlighted the convenience and versatility of Nova Smoked Salmon by providing quick and unique recipes. Each concept differs in its look and feels and focuses on one of three key differentiators: gourmet, ease, and authenticity.
CONCEPT 1: GOURMET
To show the versatility and gourmet nature of Smoked Nova Salmon We used the color black to convey elegance, sophistication, and versatility, as well as to make the salmon stand out in comparison to competitors.
CONCEPT 2: EASE
To create an experience and highlight the perfect portions in a more playful way, we used packaging and die-cut windows unlike competing brands to set Vita Foods apart from competing brands on the shelves.
CONCEPT 3A & 3B: AUTHENTICITY
